BrewMatch

BrewMatch support

How can we help?

BrewMatch is built to stay simple: check a cup, get one useful next tweak, and keep a tiny local brew journal. If something feels off, send a note and we will take a look.

What this support page covers

Use this page for BrewMatch app help, Cup Check troubleshooting, local journal questions, reminder issues, privacy basics, and contact details. The fastest support note includes your device, brew method, selected cup clues, and what result felt wrong.

Quick answer: most BrewMatch support questions fall into four groups: saved journal entries, reminder permissions, Cup Check results, and privacy. If the app result feels wrong, send the cup clue, brew method, and whether the coffee tasted bitter, burnt, weak, sour, or muddy.

For website support, include the page you were using, whether the issue happened on mobile or desktop, and whether it involved the guide, Academy, grinder helper, game, or coffee matcher. Clear context helps us separate app behavior from brew advice.

iPhone app basics

BrewMatch for iPhone does not require an account. Cup Check, recommendations, journal notes, saved history, and Settings are local-first and work without a network connection.

Saved cup checks and notes stay on your iPhone. You can delete individual journal entries from History or clear local history in Settings.

Reminders are optional. If you tap Remind me, iOS may ask for notification permission. If you decline, the rest of the app still works.

Common fixes

I do not see my saved journal entry.

Confirm that you tapped Save to journal on the result screen. Saved entries appear on Home and in History.

A reminder did not arrive.

Check iOS Settings for BrewMatch notification permission. Reminders are local notifications and require permission.

The result does not match my cup.

Run Cup Check again with the closest cup clue and flow or timing clue. BrewMatch is designed to suggest one next test at a time.

I want to reset the app.

Open Settings in the iPhone app and choose Clear History.

Privacy

The iPhone app stores saved cup checks locally on your device. The website may collect limited information for guide delivery, email preferences, and website analytics. Read the Privacy Policy.
